Criminal Health Law

The Criminal Law Team assists its clients in the management of all punitive aspects related to health law, before the judiciary courts and the medical regulatory authorities.

Examples include:

  • Counsel to a company in the food industry prosecuted for endangering others, displaying or selling foodstuff, beverage or farm products that are counterfeit, corrupt or toxic, manslaughter and involuntary injury.
  • Assisting a plaintiff in the PIP implants trial.
  • Counsel to several practitioners subject to medical regulatory prosecution for ethical breaches.
  • Counsel to a major player in the accommodation of the elderly following the defenestration of a resident.
  • Counsel to a professor of medicine prosecuted for violence and fondling and then, after the case was dismissed, a complaint for slanderous accusation
