Criminal confiscations and seizures
The firm regularly assists its clients in the event of confiscation or seizure of their assets or real estate assets, in order to obtain their release or confinement.
The firm also assists its clients in the tracing and recovering of assets that have been misappropriated , as the case may be abroad, in coordination with local authorities and/or local experts.
Examples include:
- Release of a property seizure ordered by an investigating judge against a real estate company.
- Return of 37 works of art seized in the context of a large-scale illicit trafficking in cultural property.
- Release of criminal seizures ordered in the context of a European mutual assistance request involving assets of approximately 150 million euros.
- Release of criminal seizures made in the context of international mutual assistance requests against PEPs.
